2006 Dec had been an eventful mth for me.....

Firstly....on the 12 Dec 2006....i ended off my contract wif Citibank...ended e life of working in tamp...making a huge decision to leave my comfort zone.....

Secondly...on the 15th Dec 2006...i joined RBS (Royal Bank of Scotland) and start mark a start for my new career !!!

Thridly...on 20th Dec ...is Dear's bdae...we went to had feast that nite at Gyu Kaku (jap bbq)..dear love it coz he loves japnese stuff hee~...well i will enjoyed the food too !! yum yum !... and e services there were Superb too !

Fourthly....on 21st to 23rd Dec...mi...yh...ling...and jing had our veri own first flea mkt at tamp !! lots of hard work put in...and many support from frens ! thanks to those we travel all e way day and show ur moral support despite e rain :) We had lots of fun and indeed is a wonderful experience !

Fifth....on 24th Dec...is CHRISTMAS EVE !! As usual..christmas eve is wif my dearest jiemei...but this yr instead of partying at someone's hse...we decided to go to Music Dreamer Cafe for countdown....it was really fun ! coz it had been quite some time tat we actually countdown outside hee~...

at 12am sharp...i sms dear..merry christmas and may his wish come true.....but he was too busy having fun at his fren's hse.....tat he replied mi.."MESSY Christmas. All nvr dreams come thru" hai.....

Sixth...on 25th Dec...Christmas Day....went to vivo city wif dear....super crowded.....shop ard for awhile and we head down to secret recipe to eat ! hee~...yum yum...my fav is the chocolate banana cake !! i fall in love wif it ever since i eat it at evon's 21st bdae hee~...

Seventh....31st Dec....Last day of 2006...Beginning of 2007 !!! HAPPY NEW YEAR to all !!! hee~

We had a small portluck pyjamas party at Alvin's nobody stay hse..shiok !! coz we have unlimited supply of food...drinks...aircon...tv show...and games...HAHA

All these marked up e end of my 2006 and may 2007 be a fruitful and exciting yr !!

SENTOSA (8th OCT 06)

This is the FIRST time i go sentosa wif my jiemei after knowing each other for 9 yrs.....really had fun tat sunday....spending time chatting everything "UNDER the SUN". ..relaxing and enjoyable...muz really find time to go again :) after sun tanning we still went to play LUGE...is fun !! we play 3 TIMES !! hee~....

KU-SHIN-BO (14th OCT 06)

The annual Work and Travel is here again !! this yr mi and dear will be helping out @ the roadshow. Went for briefing at swensen last sat...e briefing was rather short....waste time.....but they ordered pizza...fries and swensen "EARTHQUAKE" for us to eat...yum yum...hee~

after the briefing mi and dear went to walk walk.....so happy coz i buy a jacket and shoe for work hee~....after that we went to Singapore one and only Authentic Japanese Buffet Restaurant "KU SHIN BO" for dinner...the queue was sooooooo long......but the food there definitely worth the time and money :)

after dinner.....we went to tamp to watch Rob B Hood veri veri funni show...i muz say Jackie Chan is really GOOD....super long nv watch movie le...so happy...hee~....oh ya !!! nw they got offer for safra member !! hee~...tan dio....weekend tic is selling at $8 (u.p $9.50) so better remember to bring ur safra card to GV before is too late !!! haha

oh ya....did i mention my darling (charmy) called mi...hee...so long nv chit chat wif her le....kind of miss the time we study tgt in sch :) and i saw SHILIN while shopping...hee so qiao :)

God and Doctor??

finished e 2 bottle of cough syrup from the doctor.....cough didn't get better.....instead it got worse.....nw i'm like coughing every few sec...non stop....so xin ku.....

went to see e same doctor again.....this time he gave mi different medicine.....he say if nv get better this time rd then have to go for XRAY le...in case is infection.....see doctor twice within 1 week.....and both time he did nothing much other than examine my tongue and listen to my heartbeat...each time charge $29...no wonder they say doctor earning GOOD $$$ ......

i strongly believe last week he gave mi e wrong prescription when i consult him abt my cough...tat's y e medicine is of no use at all....but dunno y ppl still believe so much in doctors and ppl like mi still give him 2nd chance to let him try e medicine on mi !! haha....well...tat's life.....have u wonder who is e person u believe in most??? Many answered... "DOCTORS"... werid har....

LAst time one person told mi.......many ppl say although we heard alot abt God...and know alot abt him....but why and how can we trust in e LORD when we nv even see him b4.....
On the other hand, you get to see ur doctor physically....but how much u know abt him that let u trusted him TAT MUCH .....hee~...
well...i not trying say whether the medicine will works....but more of trusting the DOCTOR as a human...as a stranger in our life.......interesting rite....hee

I admit i'm one of those who blindly trusted the doctor so much and forgetting the healer is actually Jesus and not doctor Yeo......But is nv too late to turn to God........and I certainly believe that God is the one that is healing my sickness......he will hear my cry and send the doctor to help mi :)

Forbidden City

Went to watch Forbidden City last nite....one word to describe....AWESOME !!! everybody's vocal was superb especially e main cast...Kit Chan.... but somehow i was expecting more for the story line....overall still worth watching !!

I was coughing quite bad thruout the show...abit paisey....i have to try to "ren" till when e music is veri loud or when e audiences r clapping then dare to cough out loud.....so xin ku lor haha

After the show...mi and dear had a bah kut teh feast @ balestier.....yum yum....craving that for quite some time le hee~.....

Is sundae night...meaning tml everybody is gng back to sch and work....Monday BLUE.....maybe tml i can wear blue to work too??haha...k...lame....

Finally weekend is here !!! been working for e past 3 days......not veir xin ku quite coz i'm still in e learning process so nothing else to do except listening to my "shifu" teaching and taking down some notes hee~.....

After work met fio.....jean and yh at cartel for dinner .....had a wonderful time chit chatting.....coz we can almost chat anything under the sun :) We stay there from 8pm...alll e way till 12 am....oh ya forget to mention choo and junhao did drop by to say "hi" too haha

fio shared abt her love life......i shared abt my new working life.....and most interesting is jean shared abt her "new life"?? haha i also dunno how shld i descirbe what she shared...but is a secret btw e jie mei so i will not say more till there r new updates haha.....

anyway we were very happy for her to hear that she actually make her first step !!! jean jia you !!! GOOD START !! hee! er....tamp...gd gd !!! (private joke) haha

Was sick since tue.....from fever and sore throat...if u know mi....usually after this illness....e one tat follow closely next is COUGHING !! i'm like tat since young...cough without failed will visit mi after my sore throat......

i use to have slight asthma since young....so ever time cough will take quite some time to recover and have to take cough syrup.....so qiao mine finish le.....so i ask mummy to go buy....but doctor say too long nv consult him le cannot juz buy i muz go for consultation then can buy.....

So i make my way down to my family doctor....doctor Yeo.....while waiting......this was wat happen........

mum: later dun anyhow tell e doctor...just say u cough...if not he will anyhow give u alot of medicine...

nini: huh....ok lor....anyway i also onli cough wat...hee~

First Day @ Work

back !!! i'm back working at citibank tamp where i had my internship in 2005......first day is always nothing to do except reading the dept manual.....i was sick yesterdae....38 degree...and sore throat...lucky todae is slightly better and work is not too taxing hee~....my dept is asia securities ops....working in a team of 6 ppl including myself for mutual funds....

haha so qiao.....one of my colleague who is also under contract....is also from ntu B&F and.....more qiao one is he stay 2 blks away from mi onli haha !!! the world is soooo small rite haha....and when i having lunch todae i saw another 2 ntu frens all 3 of us all working in different banks in TAMP haha !!!

Well...wat i heard todae is my team nv goes back earlier than 7pm...normally is 8++ or 9pm....erm...i sort of expected that timing for ops....but...whether how long i can take it is another issue ba hee~.....i dunmind staying if there's work to do...but there isn't then....erm....i guess time really "heng nan guo".

Yesterdae afternoon went to em's hse and play mj again !! we almost complete 2 rds but e gals got to catch a movie at 8 so we ended earlier...but all of us feel like cont playing especially pam haha she even wanted ask "John Tucker" if he can wait for them to play finish then start showing anot haha !! well...everybody was quite even....not much win or lose...haha but i still e winner...won $10 !!!! hee~

after that went to cine...they went to watch movie mi and dear went to eat dinner at this saki sushi??i can't remember exactly wat's e name...is something like sakae sushi....just that is cheaper and not so good haha !! the "shou gong" is really quite lousy..it is e one outside e cinema and EZone de.....er...lvl 5??can't remember.....anyway dun believe u go and try urself HAHA

After dinner i went back to tamp and cont my mj session wif another group of frens!!! actually quite tire le...but they always jio and i always fly kite haha...and one of them flying to aust to study soon le....so decided to meet them to play...hee...
hai....bad game...lost $20....dunno izzit e tile too small veri difficult to play...or i too tire to play properly haha !! anyway e winner won $40++ and e rule there is whoevere win muz treat supper haha !!! we all had prata and milo dinosaur...yum yum !!!

oh ya...anyway b4 e mj session i went to kelly to sign e contract le.... so i officially start work on 27th sept 06(wed) and end on 12th Dec 06 !! haha !!

Super Tan Dio !!

Todae suppose to watch Forbidden City by Kit Chan wif dear de....but when we reach there....e mgt told us today the matinee show is not by Kit Chan...coz she need to rest...and is replace by her understudy...know as Celine XXX i forget le...haha.....
the mgt told us...if we do not wish to sing her sing instead then we can actually exchange one for one tickets for another day performance of refund. As this is a last min decision made by them...they have to bear e responsibility too haha !!!

Typical singaporean of us of coz wan to change !!! haha !! anyway..if is not by Kit Chan...wat's e pt of watching rite???i dunmind watching celine...but if e tickets r cheaper la....haha

Anyway in the end we manage to change from our orginal matinee student rate show (which cost $66/tic for cat 1) to a weekend sat night show (which cost $140/tic for cat 1) !!!! haha TAN DIO rite !!! mi and dear sooo happy lor !!! haha !! fyi is cat 1 seats...meaning is e best view too !!! i sooooo excited for e day to arrive...can't wait to watch it hee~ i'm sure it's gng to be an AWESOME show hee~.....

After that mi and dear went to sit down at TCC....dear took many pic of mi using his phone...i'm surprise his phone cam really veri clear !!! good phone !!

After celebrating for ignatius...is time for my family...todae is my daddy's birthdae.....meet up wif my parent after their dancing class and went Sakura to have buffet dinner. I had lots of sashimi and oyster...surprising they r veri fresh....yum yum :)

I like the paper steamboat too !!! e soup base is veri nice !!! i muz say their international buffet is not bad..worth e money....got chance can go eat again

Yes !!! this is DUCK !! i have been eating this for lunch for the past few Saturday..... my dad say he wan to learn how to de-born the duck...so he's buying it every week to pract.....
the roast duck is nice la.....but every sat wake up and see this on e table abit xian also ma...hee~...but they buy then i juz eat lor...for ur imformation...they buy WHOLE duck...so is actually quite alot for a family of 4....and we usually can eat e duck for whole day.... morning dear went to outram for eye checkup....hai...his degree increase again......dalring muz take care of ur eye k.....less computer games....less contact lens...for u....remember to wear spec to sch k....dun be so vain haha !! if anybody see him in sch wearing contact lens pls let mi know ...i will scold him HAHA !!

after that i meet dear at orchard....we took a long time to think of where to eat lunch...finally settle at Crystal Jade Kitchen....had "tian ji zhou"...noodle...and dim sum...yum yum....e porridge really veri veri smooth...GOOD ! hee~

Eat full full le...we went to watch LITTLE MAN.....quite nice....veri funny !! haha !! i like to watch comedy...no need to use brain....and when tire watch also won't fall asleep hee~.... but i dun quite understand why this show is NC16....weird.....

After movie we juz shop ard...saw this Zara top...veri nice...but is $79...so ex....dear say not worth buying...i think so too la....maybe next time work le then buy ba haha !! after that e next few clothes i saw is all so ex lor....but i surely need to invest in them when i start working ba haha....oh ya...todae then i know SG also got Forever 21...so SLOW rite...haha...but i quite like e clothes from there...regret nv buy more from US that time....S'pore Forever 21 is much more expensive......

About 7 plus we decide to go back tamp for dinner....hee..so happy todae got dear pei wo take train back to tamp...hee~...we went to eat at Ajisan ramen ....... eat till super full lor !!!! took quite long to finish my food...hee~....

Think todae wake up too early le.....so tire that i fell asleep on e bus (293) back home...and guess wat !! i missed my bus stop !!!!! arghhhhhh !!! i juz nice woke up at my bus stop....but nobody stop....so uncle nv stop...and i not in time to press e bell too...so got to alight at e next bus stop....i told my mum and she keep laffing at mi !!! arghhhh !! hee~.....can't believe that happen to mi....hee~

working hrs-9 am -7pm
contract - 3 mths
pay - $2.2k
distant - Good !! tamp !! hee~

Job 2:
working hrs - 8.30am to 5.30pm
contract - 6 mths
pay - the agent say will be higher than $2.2....dunno how true but shld be below $2.5k
distant - average (shld be in town)

hai....i already verbally agreed wif the first agency tat offer job 1 i am willing to work le....of now i take up job 2 like abit dui bu qi agency 1 leh..... but my frens told mi nv sign anything is still ok de....so i really dunno wat to do also...

Been quite busy the past few days....went to belle's birthdae party on sundae....so happy to see belle and ignatius.....both sooo ke ai...and ignatius is soo shuai haha !! it is really so enjoyable watching them grow up bit by bit each day...hope candice and beng will forget all worries everytime they look at e 2 wonderful creations.....most of the jie mei attended belle's party..except for jing jing who is still studying in aust...and lin...so long nv see her le......haha !!

After baby belle's birthdae ...mi and yh went to attend evon's 21st birthdae party !!! i like evon's top she wore....is from mango....looks veri pretty on her too !! hee~....and i muz say her birthdae cake is e best 21st birthdae cake i ate so far....yum yum....it is banana chocolate cake !!! really veri nice !!!coz my fav food is banana haha!!! feel like eating nw haha !!

Other than food.....there is also unlimited flow of volka haha !! i can see that e guys had fun drinking.....Jiawei got really high...so funni !! i juz keep laffing at him e whole night coz he keep tokin nonsense HAHA and e funniest thing is he keep toking non stop....can't even keep quiet for 1 min haha !! veri veri funni....i laff till i cry lor haha !!

Really had lots of fun that day...but also veri tire......

Next morning...i woke up at 7 plus to go for a one day assignment at choo choo's company...hee~...although i feeling veri sleepy...but e job doesn't need to use any brain at all...so is still ok.....all i need to do is juz pasting some sticker onto e menu...i work till 5 pm then leave le...coz got to go down to Citibank for interview at 6.30pm....it was a fast interview....and i am feeling veri sleepy so didn't have e mood to tok much too....so thought i did veri badly for e interview.....

but this morning i got a call and being told that they r offering mi e contact for the Citibank job....dunno to be happy or not.....yesterdae i receive a call from e branch manage of adecco....asking if i will like to join his team to be part of adecco personnel consultant....i think is rather an interesting job...but i still dunno shld i choose something i wan (bank) or something i like(non bank)...

This afternoon i went to adecco to meet the manage and had a good 2 hrs tok wif him....he teach mi alot of things...he told mi what type of job suits mi....and that nw is employee markets...meaning lots of job available...so ask mi slowly find something i like..and he dun really encourage mi to go into banks.....(he got 8 yrs of experiences in banking)....i still veri confuse with wat i really wan....dunno shld accept e Citibank job nw anot....really dunno...hai....can anybody tell mi what shld i do??

Not enough sleep...

Sleep at 3am on fri night....then wake up early morning 8am to go down to speedwing to collect our cert for the work and travel program.....tire....onli manage to sleep 4 hrs plus.....

After finish collecting....mi and yh went to orchard to meet ling and william sing KTV at party world......erm....i dun really sing... i usually juz sit there and listen them sing....hee~....but 3 person singing really shag...especially william...got no chance to rest HAHA...dunno izzit todae the song they choose many i nv hear b4..or i too tire...i keep falling asleep while they singing haha !!!

After singing we went to starbuck to sit down drink coffee...eat cheesecake and chit chat till 5pm....yh leave to meet her fren for dinner....and william meet darren....

So mi and ling went back tamp to buy belle's present !!!

We spend like 2 hrs choosing belle's present....coz is either no size or no new piece....then after tat the cashier queue veri long also...then wait and wait....so tire and hungry lor..hee~...wanted to play MJ at my hse de...but too tire le...and late also le hee~.....after finish buying everything is abt 9pm le....so both of us head back home to rest.....

But at 10++pm jie came to fetch mi and choo to a junior's father wait....we sit there and chat till 2 am then jie send us home....shag...think everybody is very tire too....but the worse thing is...i haven do e present i wan to do for belle.....

after bathing...i decided not to sleep and complete the present.....i will say is not an easy task.....i spend the whole night doing...3am till 8am...5 hrs to complete...nw i'm waiting for my parent to buy breakfast back for mi..eat le then sleep awhile...later got to go for belle's bdae party in e afternoon and evon's one in e evening....

Anyway i make a "puzzle" made up of her photos......will take e pic of the final product next time :)

but arghhhhh i made a tupid mistake in this present is i write wronly her birth DATE...is sept 11th..not sept 9th....how careless..but is too late to change...so...erm..hopefully nobody realise HAHA

IS MAHJONG TIME !!!! met up wif e "38 jiemeis" i knew from Work and Travel USA to play mahjong at emily's hse.....i muz say em's hse is really big and nice !! nv been to such a beautiful and high tech hse b4 haha !!

We spend 4 hrs juz on 1 rd ( north south east west) shag......but haha i won $32 so happy !!! coz my luck has been down lately....but seems like is back again !!! haha !!! shall go and play more mj nw while my luck is still here haha !!

Half time...tea break !!! though i'm veri full...coz i drank a cup of pudding wif pearl during the game....but the food still taste nice !!

Erm.....if you ppl think i'm not looking for job...u r wrong....yesterdae mi and my uni fypmate went to international plaza to look for job...we spend 4 hrs there gng to all e agencies and register.....hee...

I am really amazed by the speed they work....is onli yesterdae i went there and this morning i received 4 calls from them le....got telemarking....customer service...event coordinator....data entry....though they e efficient.....but i muz say not veri effective HAHA....i rejected them all....for the obvious reason...i wan to work in Bank....of coz not any job in bank....i wan to work in e operations side....i guess there is not many these kind of position right nw..but i'm willing to wait...HAHA..juz tat sometimes whole day nothing to do at home really quite boring haha !!

Todae i almost accept the event coordinator job.....is a 2.5mths contract..organizing a whole event...from planning...finding sponser till e event itself...and end off wif a report for the whole event......and guess wat's e event !!!!! is e annual Motorshow at suntec this nov !!! i was sooo tempted....becoz for e past few yrs...i have been working under Cool N Lite selling solar film for car window in the same car show that they ask mi to organise....so i thought was really interesting coz i can participate in this car show in a different position...this time is e BOSS of the event...shiok !!!

But the bad thing is....from nw till 2nd nov...i have to work in the QUEENSWAY office....which is sooo far....and the pay is onli $1.4k.....hai...though is fun but i chose to give up this chance after weighing the cost and benefit which wat business student like to do most haha !!

I guess i shld be more focus on what i want !! BANK !!! no other things shld hinder mi from that and nothing can tempt mi hee~

At 7pm...me, dear and ming ming start queuing to go into National Stadium for our first live soccer match !! Singapore Vs China !!! The stadium is quite crowded !! i didn't expect so many ppl will come and watch soccer match on a weekday nite......i always thought Singaporean r all workaholic and no life...haha !!

Other than Singaporean...there are many many CHINESE there cheering for their country.....we r not surprise to see so many of them coz if u study in ntu b4.....u will know how many ah tiong there is in singapore...haha !!!

SINGAPORE JIA YOU !!! JIA YOU !!! JIA YOU !!!!

The atmosphere is really high !!! both country citizen start cheering for their own team as well as swearing and booing at the opponent...HAHA !! i nv hear so many ppl booing at one time and scolding out loud and insulting the CHINESE...hee~...really amazing......

730pm sharp !! Match started !!! cheers get even louder !!! there's a sense of excitement in everybody....even for ppl who dunno soccer like mi...HAHA....ming ming and dear is shouting like mad...especially ming ming....who keep jumping up and down....veri veri ji dong !! i sit beside him...so scare he accidentally hit mi lor ...and have to keep siam to the other side whenever he jump up and scream haha !!! but really fun watching the them shout till like tat haha !!

After 30 mins of the match....suddenly....GOAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! everybody sooooo happy !!! but yuan lai is off side.....hai.....so sad.....and during the game got this china team number 13...he pretend to be injure and hai singapore kanna a yellow card !!! after that whenever the number 13 got the ball...e crowd will....BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! so fun haha !!!

Then got this small group of Ah Tiong siting in e mist of the Singaporean....then whenever they start cheer...."zhong gou dui JIA YOU !!" then e singaporean will shout "Xing Jia Po" and let the Ah tiong shout Jia You for us !! and after that still got ppl shout..Thank you ah !!! haha so funni !!! i think that small group who sit in e midst of us veri ke lian...coz e singaporean keep scolding them.....and keep shouting...."china go back home la !!" i so scare will have ppl start fighting lor....haha !!! but e scene is really really funni !!!

The game ended with 0:0 ....but i will say is really an exciting game...and our s'pore goal keeper really did a great job todae !!! soccer is so much nicer watching live :)

After 2 weeks of work...finally mi and dear got same day off le.....we decided to make our way down to Rio Grande..one of the nearest town to where we stay....

We walked for about 15 mins to Oak Ave....and take NJ Transit...the bus ride is onli 15 mins...veri fast de.....but if you were to walk from wildwood to rio grande...then it will take hrs le ba...tat one u have to ask dear and the guys...coz the first time they go rio grande is by foot...HAHA !!!

We were early.....so have to wait for e bus...meanwhile....TAKE PICs !!!!

We reached le !!! hee~...WAWA and Sunoco is their petrol kiosk...like our Shells and Exxo Mobil hee~......here also got Wendy's...dear love wendy's...coz he ate veri nice burger from wendy's in Japan...but the Wendy's at Rio Grande abit disappointing....maybe becoz here abit wulu...so not many ppl come here and eat...so e food not so fresh ba...Dunkin Donuts !!! i love to eat e donuts from there...got many many different Kou Wei.....yum yum !!!

Look at the Ford 250....veri big truck......the ppl in US like to drive such big "car"...think is becoz they always like to travel to other state as a family during summer....and of coz their SIZE....so need a bigger car in order to be mroe comfortable.....

Although there's nothing much here......but we really had fun spending the day tgt.......we ended e trip wif many USD$1.99 bread for our next few days breakfast !!

USA Delaware (15th May 06)

Back to what happened in US 3 mths ago....what we been thru in Deleware is really an unforgettable experience......

On 15th May...early morning we set off by walking to a bus stop 30 mins walk away from where we stay......after that took a bus......but we kind of missed the stop....so we got to wait for a cab at the terminal...tat's where we have our rocking chair competitions :)
After waiting for some time we finally we reach Cape May ferry terminal......the waiting area is really beautiful...and i really love the sky and grass colour in US....awesome !!! we spend some time taking pics while waiting for e ferry to depart.....

The ferry journey is abt 90 mins to reach Delaware (a tax free shopping paradise).......the sea journey was an enjoyable one coz we manage to see some dolphins and enjoy tanning under e sun without sweating(May is still quite cold there)!!!!

we reach there quite late.....ard 3pm......so had lunch at APPLEBEE.....yum yum !! The food here is veri big portion...usually i will share wif dear and we will still eat till full full

After charging energy...now is of coz SHOPPING TIME !!!! we conquer one shop after another...as they all r TAX FREE !! and is our first time coming to factory outlets....really had a great time shopping none stop !! haha !!!

Hai...but good things dun last long......we suppose to take the last ferry at 7.45pm...but the cab was abit late....we rush alll e way to the terminal.....but when we reach there.......

the ferry had left without us...sob sob...when we reach there we could still see the ferry JUST leaving....we were JUST 1 minute too late....and the worse thing is the lady told us e next ferry is tml morning...but they r closing the ferry terminal...so we can't stay there and wait......

With no other choice...we walk out of the ferry terminal to find motel.....e road seems long....and there isn't any motel anywhere near e terminal.....worse thing is there's no street light.....but luckily US the sun set veri late...abt 9pm.....

after walking for some distance....everybody is really tire n demoralise......walk so far jus to reach the fast food outlet n ask abt the motels nearby.....one motel after another, we still cant get any...cos summer holiday not here yet..so many of them r not open!! if not those that open is too expensive.....hai.....

As we walk on....it started to drizzle.....how bad can things like tat happened to us..... it's so cold and we are all so tire.....and the worse thing tat happened is..... yilin slippers spoil haa....poor gal..really sooo dao mei....how can e slipper spoilt at this moment when she need it most !!!!

Luckily at abt 11pm, a police man came by.....but the first thought is.....izzit safe???does the police here really help CHINESE like us??
haha i muz say US police is really Kind and Helpful.....without any doubt abt our identity... he call another colleague and fetch us go find a motel!!! (we got too many ppl..so need 2 police car) First time in e police car....e feeling is simply undescribable.....

We finally reached Sleep Inn....e nearest motel in town....at first the lady wanted to charge us quite expensive too...but she know that police send us here....so she let 4 of us in one double rm instead of the usual 2.....really veri happy !! finally we got a place to stay for the night after going thru so much......
I muz say the rooms r really so shiok!!!! Althought is our most sway day....but is also our best night stay in US...coz our house really sucks......

And guess what.....the first thing we reach back wildwood the next day is work work and work....xian...haha !!!

It has been a long long time since Crippled Cookies had our gathering...haha.....had a gd chat at kenny roger.....it is one of our fav hang out place during jc time......hee~....

The small little snapple lipbalm is mi and yh buy from US de....e gals love it veri much and we we had lots of fun tasting and smelling one another lipbalm HAHA....

after that we wanted to go somewhere and chilled out.....but that place need to be 25 yr old n above....ke ai de fiona lim kun still trying to dig out her IC from her bag when we were check at e entrance.....i saw it and really can't stop laffing...but to ask her...."fio...y bother taking it out??" everyone laff ....so funni incident.....ended up we landed at starbucks which is next to it.....

After parting wif CCC.....e night is still young.....mi and yh took a cab down to wala wala to look for dear n rest....i muz say e live band is GOOD !! and not forgeting to mention i saw Lee Ming Shun there drinking wif his fren too !! haha !!! quite shuai haha !!!

that night fio came over to stay at my place too...coz her hse under renovation..we had a good night chat b4 we fell asleep......

New born Ignatius (20th Aug)

On 19th August 8.46am, a wonderful creation landed in this beautiful world...his name is Ignatius..... This is candice's 2nd child and is also our beloved godson. I wish he will be a healthy and happy baby...heard from candice he crys alot in e middle of the night...poor mummy.....MA MA ZHEN WEI DA ...haha

I went with choo choo to visit baby ignatius and mummy candice on sundae (20th aug) morning...baby keep "er nan" (vomit milk) and he open both his eye and look at his 2 beautiful godma haha !! soo cute !! really feel like bringing him home haha !!

After visiting....i went to meet irene...eileen...charm...and my uni classmates to go esplanade take pic in our graduated gown...I will like to say a BIG THANK YOU to jaimes our photograhper for the day :)

After photo taking i meet dear to funan to repair his camera whihc broke down half way during our US trip....so sad lor....lucky got kind jw to lend us his camera!! nw everything is under control !! his camera ok le !! SONY......good job !!!

We left to USA New Jersey on 9th May 2006 1pm flight.......thanks to family and reuben who came and send us off.....and all the sms from friends...

afternoon b4 meeting choo to shop shop...i went to jean's hse to take her hp for her...(she forget to bring out..blur gal) then when i walk out the lift...i saw this big brown "dog" running back to e hse.....when i reach her doorstep...i realise is not a dog !!!!! is jean's CAT !!!! aiyo...ppl who know mi how much i hate cats...but her cat is really soooo cute !!! sooo fat !!! look exactly like garfield !! haha....is sooo fat...tat u know u couldn't run after u haha !!!

after tat went to bugis to buy things....i really hate shopping....everywhere is so crowded....dun like to squeeze wif ppl....see e crowd makes mi giddy...haha lucky manage to buy wat i wan...if not i will be soo angry...thanks choo !! for accompanying mi go thru such a horrible afternoon haha !!

tonight had a small celebration ....my ah ma won TOTO last week !! haha so todae she treat all of us go mandrin hotel to have buffet dinner....haha so happy for her..though not alot...but is enff for an elderly too le haha !!congrats !!!!!! haha !!

hai....during the dinner....i saw my cousin like kind of ignoring her "husband" (rom le..but haven go thru e ceremony) ....heard they got some prob..and my cousin dun really like him le...she wanted a divorce...but e guy dun wan.....so nw things r like dragging....not here not there...she treating him like stranger...but yet he's always appearing in our family outing.....hai....i see le also xin ku for her.....if i were her....is either u forget abt the unhappiness juz forgive him/ accept what he is.....or juz let go of this r/s......if not is like wasting both parties' time....she 28 le leh !!! hai....hope she can find her happiness soon ba....love is so fragile....is always easier to say than done...y do we need a partner???hai....

then she added :

this morning 1020am woke up by a call from the SONY ppl..... they ask mi to go for the 2nd interview....was quite shocked !! u mean they actually willing to wait for mi to come back from US in aug??or they juz forget i will be coming back late....

HAHA anyway since i nothing to do nw also can juz give it a try haha !! anyway is onli the 2nd interview..think more interview will come..and they r onli choosing 6 to be in the management team program......but by then even if i pass this round i will not be in SG le..haha !! she still mention after the interview got this personality test...so scary..haha !!

had a quiz 2 weeks ago....is was a MCQ paper....each question is 3 marks....and the tutor reqested us to give working for the ans we chose......

i didn't really know how to do.....nevertheless with my excellent eyesight......i know e ans is (b)....but working wise....i juz anyhow write 1 or 2 sentenses to explain.....my fren who was sitting beside mi saw the my ans and juz copy blindly (b) but did not do any workings for it....

when we got back e result......guess wat....the tutor minus 2 marks from mi for wrong workings......ended up wif onli 1 mark for the right ans.....and my fren got full 3 marks juz for copying the right ans !! SOOOO FAIRRRRRR.......

haha so if u r those who dunno anything but still like to write alot during exam ppl....better think twice next time.......u nv know if they deduct marks for wronge workings......but at least you can be sure my tutor does tat......

Started off my day wif a presentation for AB311...YES !! is my last presentation in NTU......use to hate presentation...but nw starting to miss it le....hee~.....

Follow next....i rush to class for my LAST General Elective lesson...MS8005 (interpersonal communication) interesting module......before the quiz....e tutor do s summary for the course....she mention a veri interesting story about how people handle relationship...

doc: i teach u a way to test see how serious is her condition before u bring her to me.....u go back and follow the instructions i told u....

haha....get e moral of the story??well......most of the time we are like the man...thinking that is other people who is the one having problem...but in fact...he's the one who's gng deaf and not his wife......

we always trying to change other people thinking.....our parents....frens.....but who are we to change them.....we have no power or control to change them...and is definitely not easy or even impossible to change one person.....however, we can always change ourselves as we are in control of that.

When i was abt to go up the escalator in the MRT station.....my slipper the strip suddenly break....arghhhh...so suay.....and i couldn't walk properly......Thanks God i'm already at e station....i drag my feet into the train and hurry find a seat.....but it was so obvious tat my slipper spoilt and many ppl were staring at my feet...... so embarrasing......amazingly i still manage to reach Bishan with my one slipper.....

the first thing after i alight the train was to rush to buy a slipper.......but when i come out of train...there is this lady keep asking mi to buy dunno wat donation tickets and she keep following mi......arghhhh.....but in my mind is just..."shoe shoe shoe" so i didn't really pay attention to her....

Bishan used to have small push cart that sells slippers......but when i reach there !!!!!!!!!!! oh no !!! they renovated the place and is totally unfamiliar to mi nw !!!!

it took mi awhile b4 i found Charles and Keith !!!! saviour !!! i went in and was looking at 2 pair of slippers ALONE (no sales gal entertaining mi).......one is ($19.90) and the other one is ($27.90) but they look quite similar.....so i call for the sales gal to get for mi my size for the ($19.90) one.......after awhile she came out and tell mi no more size le...and guess what !! she pass to mi the ($27.90) pair wif the size i request !!!!!!!!how she know i was looking at that pair too !!

somehow....i jus think tat e salesgal saw my shoe spoilt le and know tat i urgently need a new pair.....tat's y let mi buy e more expensive one!!!!!!!!!! haha but this is onli my guess....who knows the truth except her.....of coz i hope is really no size and not she is lying....integrity !!

with not much choice i took the $27.90 one and wear it immediately........although i have shoe to wear le....but....this new shoes hurts!!!! nw i got 2 blister on my feet....sob sob...pain pain.....wat a day.......hope this kind of thing will not happen to mi again.....

Is weekend again !!! like e feeling of being at home watching tv and slacking haha !! but the thought of graduating soon makes mi abit "bu se de"......think i gng to miss my hall room...my roomie...my classroom...access lab...lib....canteen (though is not veri nice haha) so many things sob sob.....dun feel like graduating......

Anyway todae left hall at abt 430 and meet choo and JUNHAO (first time seeing him haha) at tamp for dinner.....while waiting for him to arrive...i pass by fashion. LAB and they r having sales !!!!!!!!! i went in and take a look...below r my achievements !! haha

White blouse from G2000 !!! this is not on sales !! expensive.....$60 !!! but i need a long sleeve shirt for interview next time....so decided to invest in this !! haha

is only within 45 mins and i spend total of $80 !!! but i really wanted a shirt...so.....nvm la haha !! juz nice after coming out from G2000 then junhao also arrive le...hee...3 of us went to TM foodcourt for dinner..mi and choo had nice korea cusine and the korean uncle is sooo blur and funny haha !!! think he is new ba haha !!!

OH MAN !!! how careless can i be......last nite i was so happy !! finally sent my FIRST resume to Toyota motor !!! in my resume...i describe myself as someone who is careful in work and pay attention to all minor details !!! but.......i just realised that i actually FORGET to attach my resume to the email !!!! how contridict am i !!!!sure minus pt le... sob sob....

and nw i don't have my resume with mi...have to wait till my mum got home then ask her to send to mi....sob sob......hai....xueni ah xueni.......

but thank god at least i realise it todae......better than i didn't realise at all..... (trying to be positive...)

anyway i think my chance of getting this job is rather low.....coz they r onli hiring ONE ppl !!! they come all e way to NTU career fair just to hire one person....crazy rite...haha !!! well...i just give it a try.....who knows maybe next time u wan to buy car i can give u discount??haha !!!!

didn't feel veri gd todae....coz of my tupid flu....haven recover.....xian....and is really kind of xin ku.....mummy keep asking mi to take medicine....but i keep forgetting...haha.... yeah....pm e right is e medicine i suppose to eat....but looks weird rite...i thought flu medicine suppose to be small yellow tablet???

was thinking shld i go back hall tonight.....since i got no more fyp on mon...maybe i shld rest at home for one more day.......on e other hand...i also thinking i can go over to dear's rm to pei him since i no need go sch tml...

well....dear thought tat i will ask him come over to my rm instead then he have to walk back later.....tiring.....so ask mi to stay at home and rest instead...haha.....ok lor.....then i shall stay at home and rest ba hee~...

erm...i dunno to love or hate my weekends.....every week e only thing i did on weekend is watch vcd...haha one after another.....all my parents' fault...keep watching ...tempting mi to watch too haha !!!

i watch from fri night....then sleep then wake up and watch thru my whole sat....felt sooo slack haha !! wanted to start doing my tutorial...but my runny nose juz can't stop flowing......so xin ku...especially when i bend my head down to look at e tut...flow out even faster !!!....xian......ended up.....nothing much done.......arghhhh..........haha !!!

dunno y suddenly got flu......i ate alot of chicken last week..hoepfully is not bird flu haha !!! k...is bedtime !!! hopefully the flu will go away by tml...hee~....

Yeah...haven been blogging for e past few days...kind of busy with my fyp...but FYP has become e past for mi !! congrats to all final yr student !! finally get rid of this "tao yan de tong xi" hee~.......

thanks to my fyp mate...wenmin and wendy for all the hardwork put in !! well done gals !! hee~....gonna miss the time we spend in access lab till late nights ..eating all e dumpling and bao everydae for lunch.. haha!! suddenly no need to meet for fyp le...feeling abit weird too...haha !!

Every fri i got no lesson...but is always found in school.... "piang-ing" FYP.......nw suddenly no need to meet for FYP le.....feeling kanna of weird......haha !!!.....so i decided to go to this new place for the next few fri.....hee~......

as usual spend my whole sat watching vcd and slacking hee~.....

at 630 pm i hurried go bath and get ready to meet dear to go for Hall 8 production at raffles hotel......well e place sounded rather grand to mi......therefore....it tooks me quite long to finally decide wat i wan to wear....hee~...

my mum cooked fried rice for dinner..but i was rushing for time...so no time to eat...but i dun wan her to be dissappointed...so i decided to ta bao and eat in dear's car...haha !! yummy !! i love eating in when travelling haha !!

after e play...we went to had supper...i had 2 half-boiled egg and 2 kaya toast....dear had one plate of shui jiao mee.....after eating....i told dear i feel like gng back to take some pics so tat i can blog !!! haha !!!

feeling soooo tire and sleepy nw.....haven wake up so early since a long long long long time......i think other than when i'm having holidae with those tour group (coz those tour packages always need to wake up veri early to save time.....tat's y i hate abt travelling wif tour group) i dun really need to wake up so early.....

Woke up 7am this morning !!! ya is 7 am !!! get dressed up and leave our hall at 730am sharp for the our visa interview !!! we reach the US embassy at abt 940am...e queue don't really look long.....but.... e waiting time is like...........................................................this long.................................................. haha~ well we waited and waited and waited....finally is our turn for interview at 12pm !!! we wasted like e whole afternoon waiting for just the 2 mins of interview.....arghhh...tat's e price to pay for gng oversea to work !! but ....welll...it will definitely gonna be a great experience for us....hee~...

i reach back hall and sleep straight away from 3 pm till 6 pm....shag....poor dear and others still went to sch to do their assignments....guess is super tiring for them....somemore dear at night still have to study for quiz tml.....jia you k !!! all e best for ur quiz tml !! hee~....

well....i'm still veri tire and no mood to study at all !!! help !!! quiz next week !!! 12 chpts !! fyp dateline next week !!! but i have no mood to do anything at all...can't seems to concentrate.... :(

Pain & Suffering

Almost die in school todae......doing project half way suddenly got cramps !!! how will guys understand e pain.....it is worse than u being food posioning or any stomachache !!! i can't get any weaker than when i have cramps.....but i'm really quite used to it le....

vomitted thrice in school but nothing came out...coz nothing in my stomach...but somehow after action of vomitting makes mi feel better and manage to come back hall and rest......

i remember e worst time tat i have cramps is when in jc tat i pain till i went "blind" for a few seconds.......i remember clearly.......

.....tat evening i suddenly crump and feel like vomitting again.......so irene accompany mi to the toilet.....when i reach the toilet i quickly rush into the cubical and look for the toilet bowl to vomit.......haha but as usual (like wat yh like to say abt mi....) trying to act strong still pretend tat i can see and went into the wrong cubical...and i didnt realise till irene shout out loud..."nini !! where u gng !!"...haha.....

anyway i've finally recover le........not tat i recover fast is juz tat this terrible monster always only struck with me one day.......it has been 24hrs since i last eat anything.....but e amazing thing is i still dun feel hungry at all !!! but sweetie roomie already bought mi a sandwiche......so maybe i will eat it b4 i sleep or leave it for tml breakfast !! thanks roomie !!!

Boring Sat

woke up at 1 pm todae.....wanted to find ppl for lunch......but i guess is pretty late le.....most ppl already had their lunch.....sob sob......so ard 230pm i decided to go tamp mall myself to grab some food....wat other choice do i have.....maggie mee also finish le...sob sob......

hai.....usually sat i dun feel like gng out coz my mum onli cook on weekends so i really wan to eat at home.....but i all e gatherings and outing will always be on sat as well!!! and i really dun wan to miss any of them......

Today finally my parent not ard....and i feel like gng out...but nobody is there for mi to go out wif........hai.......everybody is busy......since i got nothing to do....i decided to SLEEP again even though i woke up super late todae

.......i fell asleep from 5pm till 7pm......guess wat !!! i dreamt of WEIZHONG !!!!....we were attending a BBQ party...got many many ppl there...yh also there.....then suddenly when everybody is sitting down to eat..i realise weizhong is not ard....but e place veri big.....so when i ask yh..she juz say he maybe is playing at another corner eating wif other kids....but somehow i still veri worried for him....and continue searching......then suddenly i saw an adult carrying weizhong ..and he was crying...coz he lost his way !!!!!!!!! poor weizhong.......then after tat i keep telling him...next time go where muz tell ah yee and jie jie k...haha !!!!! think i miss him too much le........

Projects all last min all cancelled !!! yeah !! finally can rest in my room and do some work...... Spent the whole afternoon in e room...slacking...watching tv.....do fyp and abit of tut....quite bored.....but at least get some work done....

dun really feel like talking lately....dunno y also....maybe usually i too talkative le....maybe is time to talk less and listen more haha !! muz practise e listening skills we learn in my GE....MS8005...haha !!

Went to watch Hall 6 Hexis juz nw with yh and jw...."THE INASNUM"...... at Alliance Francaise Threatre (Newton)....e play is on some mad ppl in e mental hospital....not too bad :) and my hall manage to find polar to sponsor them puffs and cakes during the break !!! yummy !! hee~......
I love to watch play....but those at esplanade always sooooo expensive.....

on e train back.....using my phone to take de...not bad rite haha !!quite special...haha !!

.......roomie doing project in e room....dun let mi watch tv.....sob sob...haha nvm...i can start blogging since nothing to do nw haha !!!

this morning i almost shut away by the shuttle bus back door............

i saw e shuttle bus from far...so i run and run and run......when i abt to reach e bus stop....i saw ppl coming down e back door........i quickly board the bus...but e bus uncle did not see mi and he CLOSE THE DOOR !!! ouch !!! i used my hand to block e closing door...lucky no blueblack.......

stucked in sch since morning 11am till 8pm doing my fyp ........ TIRE ..... SHAG ...... TIRE ....... SHAG ....... TIRE ......!!!!!

wanted to meet dear and his fren to go out for dinner......but they r all in hall 8 doing project.....so i was thinking after i finish my work or when they abt to leave then i walk over to hall 8 to meet them...coz they dunno wat time finish also......i was waiting and waiting...then dear call mi say they leaving le...it was too sudden le....i still doing my stuff...and also no time to walk down to hall 8 le.....so decided not to go le......shall just meet the rest and eat canteen food....

i left sch and meet jw in canteen 1 to ta bao dinner back for roomie...alvin and yilin..who r busy doing project in my room hee~......sometimes i juz hate to walk back from sch at such late hrs....e freezing cold wind and darkness makes my journey back hall seems abit errie....or maybe i think too much after watching Final Destination 3 yesterdae....haha !!! oh ya....is soooo dark tat i almost fell down when i was walking up e stairs at S4....arghhhh.....

have been doing project and fyp for the past few days...and gng to do it again tml !!!! this recess realy sucks !! didn't enjoy a single bit of the holidae.....is this e life of a final yr student suppose to be like???
